#6 Kendall Morton 2019
West Lauren High School
      ---25 ACT---

Kendall Morton is a 2019 prospect you want to see.

Kendall has a lot of power. Her primary position is catcher, and she is a good one, but her bat is going to be what takes her to the next level.

Kendall, the daughter of a high school football coach, spends a lot of time in the weight room working on strength, flexibility, and agility.

Kendall has a short swing but generates her power with a strong lower body. She has power to all fields. Kendall hit 3 HRs her first tournament(4 games) of the 2016 season. She hit one in her first AB against a strong Atlanta Vipers pitcher. Through 5 tournaments she now has 10 HR and 50 RBI while batting .535.

She is surprisingly fast, running a 3.0 from home to 1B at the 6/24/15 Jerrad Camp.

She is agile behind the plate. She has a strong arm, 60 mph overhand velo at OnDeck Camp in May 2016. Her Pop time was recorded at 1.85 sec.

Kendall can play either corner IF position when not behind the plate. Kendall has a great work ethic. She hits everyday and works on defense 2-3 time per week.

She also puts in the time with the books. She is a straight A student and scored a 1260 on the 2-part SAT and 25 on the ACT. Kendall is determined to be a great student-athlete at the next level. She is ranked #1 in her class.

Kendall is currently hitting .375 with a .424 OBP. She is the team leader in RBIs and extra base hits. She also has 5 HRS this season
